Handbook 44 Training - September 14, 2018
The ISWM Southeastern Division will offer Handbook 44 training on September 14, 2018 at its meeting in Myrtle Beach. The training will be conducted by Steve Cook, who is on the NCWM's list of trainers. Steve worked for many years in California weights and measures, was an NTEP evaluator, and later worked at NIST's Office of Weights and Measures, where he was a technical advisor to the NIST Committee on Specifications and Tolerances. Steve will focus on preparing technicians for the NCWM's Handbook 44 test. The NCWM is expecting states to recognize its test for licensing service agents, and several states are already laying the groundwork to recognize the NCWM H44 test for licensing purposes. To sign up for the Handbook 44 training class, complete the Southeastern Division meeting registration flyer. This training session is cancelled for September 15 due to Hurricane Florence.
